Abstract

EEG alterations in intracranial space-occupying lesions are manifold with variations appearing as local or diffuse changes. Localized symptoms are the direct result of neoplastic tissue in the cerebral cortex; those referred to as diffuse symptoms are the sequelae of intracranial tissue displacement, increased pressure on the brain, etc.
