Abstract
A number of neurological-psychiatric disease entities, e. g., cerebral palsy, are usually the result of brain damage in early childhood and do not necessarily represent uniform denotation in their clinical symptoms, etiology or morphology. In order to classify brain damage during early childhood, one must consider the moment of the noxious influence, the etiology, anatomical location of the damage and clinical symptoms. However, classification based on the moment of damage occurrence has proven useful.
