Zusammenfassung
Wir haben im vorhergehenden Kapitel gesehen, daß Immunreaktionen, die gegen körpereigene Gewebsantigene gerichtet sind (Autoimmunreaktionen), zu schweren Schädigungen führen können. Autoimmunreaktionen sind jedoch relativ selten, so daß sich die Frage erhebt, warum normalerweise eine Immunantwort gegen die eigenen Gewebsantigene ausbleibt.
