Abstract
Many new elementary particles have been discovered in recent years, and it seems likely that similar new experimental results will be obtained in the near future. Still, the qualitative picture of the elementary particles and their behaviour will probably not be changed appreciably. Therefore it seems reasonable already now to look for a theoretical description of the elementary particles which agrees qualitatively, not quantitatively, with what we know about their properties.
