Abstract
In this Book we showed how binary functions can be represented in an optimal way by implicants and implicates, moreover that implicants and implicates of binary functions are useful to construct corresponding representations of discrete functions. Then we considered quite different systems as set algebras (used in probability theory), classes of propositions (belonging to propositional logic), further indicators, truth functions, and modified Boolean functions.
