Zusammenfassung
Discrirnination reveals itself not only as a political or legal fact or process concerning inequaliry, illegality, injustice etc., but as an existential process too, complex and expressed by different social roles and told in different narratives; each of them formed in the presence of certain moral values (the notion of discrimination itself involves evaluation and is not value neutral). Nations as well as other social groups teil themselves stories about themselves, and discrimination is an essential part of these historical narratives, constructed through representation and commemoration.
