Nach morphologischen und pathogenetischen Gesichtspunkten lassen sich 4 Hauptformen unterscheiden:

  • Mukozelen der kleinen Speicheldrüsen,

  • Speichelgangzysten der großen Speicheldrüsen (Parotis),

  • lymphoepitheliale Zysten,

  • dysgenetische Zysten (s. Kap. 6.4).
