Zusammenfassung

Wie aus der Übersicht über die pathohistologische Klassifikation des Gesamtmaterials des Speicheldrüsen-Registers Hamburg hervorgeht (Tabelle 3), stellen die Fehlbildungen und Anomalien der Speicheldrüsen (Seifert u. Mann 1992) nur ein sehr kleines Kollektiv von 0,05% dar, verglichen mit den Speicheldrüsenzysten (9,5%), den verschiedenen Formen der Sialadenitis (31,4%) oder den Speicheldrüsentumoren (36,6%). Je nach Art der Mißbildung können im Einzelfall Komplikationen entstehen, so Mundtrockenheit, Entzündungen, Fisteln oder auch Geschwülste (Chilla 1985).
