Zusammenfassung
Im Material des Speicheldrüsen-Registers Hamburg entfallen ca. 5% aller zur Untersuchung gelangender Speicheldrüsen auf Krankheiten der Lymphknoten im Bereich der Parotis oder Submandibularis (Seifert et al. 1984). Ein Teil der Fälle gelangt unter der klinischen Verdachtsdiagnose eines Speicheldrüsentumors zur Einsendung und erweist sich als nicht-tumoröse Lymphknotenerkrankung oder auch als malignes Lymphom. In 45,7% handelt es sich um verschiedene Formen der Lymphadenitis (s. Tabelle 71), in 30,1% um maligne Lymphome (s. Kap. 14.39) und in 24,2% um Lymphknotenmetastasen (s. Kap. 40.40).
