Types of Tissue Echo Pattern and Artifacts

  • Chapter
Ultrasound Diagnosis of Digestive Diseases

Abstract

Whatever type of ultrasound imager is used, organ and lesion contours and tissue structure are displayed. However complex, the anatomic and pathologic features can be reduced to a small number of fundamental image types.
