Zusammenfassung

Laboruntersuchungen bei chronisch-entzündlichen Darmerkrankungen erfolgen mit dem Ziel, Informationen über die Aktivität der Erkrankung zu erhalten, frühzeitig Komplikationen und Rezidive zu erkennen und den Erfolg der Therapie zu beurteilen. Es gibt zur Zeit in der Routinediagnostik keine spezifischen Laborparameter für chronisch-entzündliche Darmerkrankungen oder für die Differenzierung zwischen Morbus Crohn und Colitis ulcerosa. Darüber hinaus gelingt es nicht, anhand einzelner Laborparameter eine sichere Vorhersage zu treffen, wann ein Rezidiv der entzündlichen Darmerkrankung auftritt.
