Abstract
Analgesic hepatopathy refers to a spectrum of drug-induced hepatic injury that may be caused by a large number and variety of both prescription and nonprescription drugs. Data on the epidemiology, pathogenesis. clinical manifestations and outcome, treatment, and prevention of hepatic injury due to acetaminophen, the nonsteroidal antiinflammatory drugs (NSAIDs). and narcotic analgesics are reviewed.
