The structure of programs

  • Chapter
Programming in Modula-3

Abstract

The intention of this chapter is to provide an overview of program components that will be explained in detail in later chapters. We introduce the structure of Computer programs and the most important structuring concepts in general and for Modula-3 in particular. In the last part of the chapter we develop our first Modula-3-programs. This chapter addresses almost everything, but finishes explaining almost nothing. The readers should retain questions for the next chapters, and on completion of the book should be able to answer them.
