Breast Cancer Screening Projects: Results

  • Chapter
Book cover Radiological Diagnosis of Breast Diseases

Part of the book series: Medical Radiology ((Med Radiol Diagn Imaging))

Abstract

The most effective means of reducing mortality in patients with breast cancer is early detection. Furthermore, the detection of cancer at an earlier stage allows treatment with breast conservation and hence a better quality of life.
