Zusammenfassung
Der Prototyp eines interaktiven Systems zur Visualisierung komplexer Architekturmodelle wird präsentiert. Der Bildgenerierung liegt eine physikalische Simulation der Beleuchtungsverhältnisse in virtuellen oder real existierenden Umgebungen gemäß den Gesetzen der Optik zugrunde. Effiziente Parallelisierungen der Radiosity-Methode, des evolutionären Raytracing-Verfahrens and einer 2-Pass-Erweiterung der Radiosity Methode wurden entwickelt and in das System integriert. Basierend auf datenparallelen Berechnungen der Progressive Refinement Radiosity-Methode wird eine interaktive Begehung komplexer, korrekt beleuchteter Szenarios ermöglicht, wobei einem Betrachter ein realitätsnaher Eindruck der Umgebung vermittelt wird. Während eines solchen Online-Walkthroughs können Kamerapfade zur qualitativ hochwertigen Offline-Animationserzeugung durch das parallele evolutionäre Raytracing-Verfahren oder der 2-Pass Methode definiert werden.
