Abstract

ELECTRA -an initiative of the four ALMA universities in the Euregion Meuse-Rhine- is working towards the realisation of a sophisticated electronic learning environment on which a spectrum of multi-lingual telematic applications and services will become accessible. In the context of ELECTRA several disciplines (informatics, medicine, engineering, psychology, etc.) come together in order to develop, test and evaluate new prototypes and products in the field of distance learning. In this paper the work carried out in Aachen is presented.
