Die depressive Persönlichkeit im Zeitalter von DSM-IV und ICD-10

Zusammenfassung

Zieht man die Zeitspanne zwischen 1923 und 1992 in Betracht, so findet sich eine erstaunliche Übereinstimmung bei der Typologie von Persönlichkeitsstörungen (PS) (Tabelle 1). K. Schneiders Typologie von 1923, die internationale Klassifikation der WHO von 1979 bis 1992 und die nordamerikanische Klassifikation zeigen untereinander starke Ähnlichkeit. Bei Schneider fehlen die paranoide und schizoide PS, während bei ICD-10, DSM-III-R und DSM-IV die affektive PS nicht unter die PS eingeordnet, sondern bei den klinischen Syndromen subsumiert wird. Gegenüber der Typologie von Schneider und ICD-9 werden die narzißtische und die passiv-aggressive PS eingeführt.
