Zusammenfassung

Ethische und finanzielle Erwägungen stehen einander gegenüber, wenn im anglo- amerikanischen Sprachraum — aber zunehmend auch in Europa — Empfehlungen darüber publiziert werden, wann ggf. Wiederbelebungsmaßnahmen, die erfolglos sind, eingestellt werden sollten [1, 3, 13, 15]. Dabei müssen ethische und finanzielle Erwägungen nicht notwendigerweise im Gegensatz zueinander stehen.
