Zusammenfassung

Die Daimler-Benz Forschung und das International Computer Science Institute (ICSI) nehnen am ersten interkontinentalen „Asynchroner Transfer Mode“ (ATM) Feldtest teil. Dieser Tagungsbericht gibt erste Erfahrungen mit multimedialen Anwendungen in globalen ATM-Netzen wieder. Insbesondere werden verschiedene Anwendungsszenarien und Ergebnisse von Performancemessungen diskutiert.
