Zusammenfassung
Die moderne Tumorimmunologie konnte zeigen, daß es zwischen malignen Tumoren und zellulärem Immunsystem Interaktionen gibt. Einerseits kommt es zwar zu einer immunologischen Erkennung, andererseits bleibt aber eine effektive Antwort durch Natural Killer (NK) Cells und T-Lymphozyten, die für den weiteren Verlauf der Tumorerkrankung eine signifikante Rolle spielt [1], aus. Dies könnte durch das Fehlen eines „second signals“ zwischen Erkennung und Aktivierung von Effektorzellen begründet sein [2].
