Zusammenfassung

Die Vorteile computertomographischer Rekonstruktionstechniken, nämlich verbesserter Kontrast und überlagerungsfreie dreidimensionale Darstellung untersuchter Organe, machten die Emissionscomputertomographie (ECT) zu einem ähnlich unverzichtbaren Instrument nuklearmedizinischer Diagnostik wie die Transmissionscomputertomographie in der Röntgendiagnostik. So lag mit Beginn klinischer Anwendungen der ECT der Gedanke nahe, die Radionuklidventrikulographie (RNV) mit tomographischen Techniken zu verbinden. Bereits Ende der 70er Jahre wiesen Arbeitsgruppen auf die prinzipielle Möglichkeit einer EKG-getriggerten RNV in SPECT-Technik hin [1].
