Zusammenfassung

In den letzten Jahren wurde die planare Szintigraphie des Herzens zur Diagnostik kardiovaskulärer Erkrankungen nahezu vollständig durch die tomographische Szintigraphie mit rotierender Gammakamera abgelöst. Der erhöhte Bildkontrast in über–lagerungsfreien Schnittbildern sowie die Möglichkeit, Aktivitätsverteilungen und abgeleitete Parameter quasi dreidimensional zu präsentieren, haben die diagnostische Aussagefähigkeit der Untersuchungen und die Akzeptanz der nuklearmedizinischen Herzdiagnostik bei Kardiologen deutlich erhöht.
