Abstract
Diagnosis of cirrhosis in mice is relatively easy on gross examination. The liver is shrunken and nodular and has a scarred, uneven capsule (Fig. 121). Some lobes may be more severely affected than others, and large nodules (more than 1 cm in diameter) may be present.
