Zusammenfassung

Störungen der Sexualfunktion treten in hohem Maße nach Verletzungen de Rückenmarks auf. Meist werden sie dem Verletzten erst nach Überwinden der Akutphase bewußt. Im Rahmen einer Untersuchung ist festgestellt worden, daß ein Teil der befragten querschnittgelähmten Männer mehr unter dem Verlust der Sexualfunktion leidet als unter dem Verlust der M.otilität [28]. Eine Rehabilitation kann deshalb nur dann suffizient sein, wenn man dem Patienten auch im Sexualbereich bei der Lösung seiner Probleme hilft [33].
