Zusammenfassung
Während der Fetalzeit steigt die Hämoglobinkonzentration von 9 g/dl in der 11. Woche auf 14–15 g/dl in der 23.–25. Schwangerschaftswoche an. In der 32.–36. Woche wird die Hämoglobinkonzentration reifer Neugeborener von 16,5 g/dl (Hämatokrit 50%) erreicht. Diese unmittelbar nach der Geburt im Nabelblut bestimmten Werte ändern sich allerdings in kurzer Zeit, wenn das Neugeborene während der Geburt eine Plazentatransfusion erhalten hat [11]. Nach später Abnabelung steigt das Blutvolumen im Mittel um 50%, der Hämatokrit auf 63% [13]. Durchblutungsstörungen drohen dem Neugeborenen, wenn der Hämatokrit über 67% steigt, so daß eine Hämodilution indiziert ist. Nach rascher Abnabelung sinkt der Hämatokrit auf 45%.
