In diesem Anhang werden die wichtigsten Begriffe auf dem Gebiet der Qualitätsund Zuverlässigkeitssicherung von Geräten und Systemen eingeführt und umfassend diskutiert. Die angegebenen Definitionen berücksichtigen so weit wie möglich die einschlägigen Normen [A1.1–A1.5]. Eine prinzipielle Einstufung der Begriffe ist in Bild A1.1 angegeben.
