Zusammenfassung

Ein Laser besteht aus einem aktiven oder verstärkenden Medium, i.a. einem fluoreszierenden Material, das sich in einem geeigneten optischen Resonator aus zwei gegenüberliegenden Spiegeln befindet. Obwohl die vom aktiven Medium emittierte Strahlung nicht gerichtet ist, fällt ein kleiner Teil auf die Spiegel und geht erneut durch das Medium hindurch (Abb. 8.1). Bei genauer Ausrichtung der Spiegel sind Vielfachreflexionen möglich
