Zusammenfassung
In den vergangenen Jahren gewannen Informationssysteme im Bankensektor stark an Bedeutung. Im operativen Geschäft spielt Informationstechnologie (IT) inzwischen eine zentrale Rolle. Weiterhin wird sie zunehmend auch strategisch zur Schaffung neuer Bankprodukte eingesetzt. Mit erheblich steigenden IT-Investitionen wird jedoch die Frage nach deren Wirtschaftlichkeit und damit nach deren Produktivitätsauswirkungen inuner drängender.
