Zusammenfassung
Innerhalb der Onkologie hat sich die Subspezialität der Psychoonkologie erst seit kurzem entwickelt. In ihr spiegelt sich das wachsende Interesse an Verhaltensvariablen sowie psychologischen und sozialen Faktoren der Krebsvorbeugung ebenso wider wie das Interesse an der Lebensqualität von Krebspatienten quer durch alle Krankheitsstadien.
