Zusammenfassung
Die Angiogenese ist sowohl für das Wachstum als auch für die Metastasierung von Karzinomen ein entscheidender Schritt [1, 2]. In einer Vielzahl von Tumorentitäten konnte das Ausmaß der Gefäßneubildung mit dem Überleben negativ korreliert werden [4, 5, 6]. Diese Studien konnten die Gefäßdichte als einen unabhängigen Prognosefaktor bestimmen. Die vorliegende Untersuchung wurde geplant, um beim kolorektalen Karzinom einen Zusammenhang zwischen Gefäßdichte und Prognose zu überprüfen.
