Zusammenfassung
Der komplexe Heilungsprozeß von Wunden ist von zwei Komponenten abhängig, der Matrixsynthese und der Angiogenese. Insbesondere vascular endothelial growth factor (VEGF), insulin-like growth factor-I (IGF-I), fibroblast growth factor (FGF) und transforming growth factor-beta (TGF-β) nehmen eine zentrale Rolle bei der Regulation der Wundheilung ein. TGF-β und IGF-I stimulieren die Kollagensynthese. Kollagen wird für die Blutgefäßbildung benötigt [3] sowie für die Gewebsreparation.
