Zusammenfassung
Ein weltweites Interesse an der Entwicklung neuer zementfreier Implantatfixations-techniken ist vor allem durch die Tatsache begründet, daß in der Traumatologie und orthopädischen Chirurgie die Anzahl der implantierten Hüft- und Knieendoprothesen jährlich steigt und daß in der Zahnmedizin sowie in der Mund-, Kiefer- und Gesichtschirurgie immer vielfältigere therapeutische Anwendungsmöglichkeiten für zementfreie Implantate bestehen. Die Kontaktfläche zwischen Implantat und Knochen ist oftmals klein, weshalb eine gute knöcherne Einheilung des Implantates für das Langzeitergebnis eine wesentliche Rolle spielt. Die dauerhafte Fixation zementfreier Prothesenkomponenten in das knöcherne Implantadager und damit der Erfolg der Versorgung hängt entscheidend von den Grenzflächenverhältnissen von Implantat und Knochen ab (Pillar et al.,1986). Die dauerhafte knöcherne Osseointegration kann nur gelingen, wenn eine mechanisch stabile Situation ohne Mikrobewegungen des Implantates vorliegt.
