Lastabhängige Tarifierung von IP Multicast-Diensten mit Dienstgüteunterstützung

Kurzfassung

Die Bereitstellung von IP Diensten mit Dienstgüteunterstützung erfordert bei nichtkooperierenden Nutzern eine Tarifierung zur Regulierung der Vergabe von Netzressourcen. Die Tarifierung kann auf einer reinen Auswertung der reservierten Ressourcen basieren. Zur Realisierung einer verursachergerechten Tarifierung ist zusätzlich eine Ermittlung der vom Sender erzeugten Last erforderlich.

Es wird eine Architektur für Charging und Accounting vorgestellt, die eine effiziente Erfassung und Verarbeitung reservierter sowie genutzter Ressourcen erlaubt. Die Architektur unterstützt die Tarifierung von Unicast- und Multicast-Diensten und erlaubt eine variable Aufteilung der Kosten zwischen Sender und Empfänger.

Es werden Basisstrukturen für die Bildung von Accounting Records vorgestellt, welche die notwendigen Parameter zur Unterstützung verschiedener Tarifmodelle enthalten. Möglichkeiten des Einsatzes dieser Datenstrukturen für lastunabhängige und lastabhängige Verfahren werden erläutert. Eine effektive Lösung für den Einsatz in ATM-Netzen wird basierend auf dem Multicast Integration Server (MIS) entwickelt. Dies ermöglicht die Unterstützung von Multicast-Shortcuts und die Umsetzung von RSVP QoS-Parametern auf ATM QoS-Parameter.
