Abstract
In the introduction to the approach in chapter 4, we have outlined how relational data characteristics may be exploited to realise expressive graphical designs. As we consider the input data to be organised in object networks composed of object relations, we understand data characterisation to be based on a classification of relations and their relational characteristics.
