Zusammenfassung
Komplexe dynamische Systeme und Chaostheorie werden derzeit erfolgreich in verschiedenen Bereichen der Naturwissenschaften untersucht. Im Zeitalter von Globalisierung und Vernetzung werden aber auch Chaos und Komplexität unserer weltweiten sozialen, ökonomischen und ökologischen Probleme entdeckt. Das gemeinsame methodische Thema ist die fachübergreifende Modellierung komplexer Systeme, deren Dynamik durch Nichtlinearität bestimmt ist. Computersimulationen und Computerexperimente erweisen sich dabei als unverzichtbar. Allerdings sind unterschiedliche Interpretationen und Meßvoraussetzungen zu beachten, um der jeweiligen Eigendynamik von physikalischen, chemischen, biologischen, psychischen und sozialen Systemen gerecht zu werden. Der folgende Beitrag gibt dazu eine Einführung und zeigt zugleich, wie die Beiträge dieses Buches vernetzt sind.
