Abstract

Infertility is a complex and often multifactorial problem requiring coordinated management by a multi-disciplinary team including one or more radiologists. In up to 50% of cases, the problem is partially or totally due to the male partner (Ross 1983; Pontonnier and Bujan. 1993). Semen analysis and the postcoital Huhner test are the initial techniques for assessment of an infertile couple (Belaisch 1987; Nys et al. 1992). If these examinations are abnormal, the cause should be sought in the male partner.
