Zusammenfassung

In der klinischen Praxis steht bei Erkrankungen des Darmes die endoskopische Diagnostik meistens mit am Anfang. Im oberen Gastrointestinaltrakt erlaubt sie die Beurteilung bis etwa zum Treitz-Band, bei Einsatz spezieller längerer Endoskope auch darüber hinaus bis ins Jejunum. Koloskopisch ist die Untersuchung vom Analring bis ca. 25 cm oberhalb der Ileozäkalklappe möglich.
