Zusammenfassung

Die pulmonale Hypertonie, d. h. die Erhöhung des pulmonalen Drucks in Ruhe > 20 mmHg und unter Belastung > 30 mmHg entsteht am häufigsten auf dem Boden einer chronischobstruktiven Bronchopneumopathie. Andere wichtige ätiologische Faktoren sind interstitielle Lungenerkrankungen, extrapulmonal bedingte hypoxämische Zustände, die primär pulmonale Hypertonie, chronische Lungenembolien und insbesondere sekundäre pulmonale Hypertonien bei erhöhtem linksventrikulärem Füllungsdruck.
