Die Indikation zur Untersuchung der Hand kann sehr weit gefaßt werden. Indikationen sind unklare Arthralgien, die Differentialdiagnose Arthritis-Arthrose, Funktionseinschränkungen, unklare Raumforderung und der Ausschluß einer Mitbeteiligung bei Polyarthritis.
