Zusammenfassung
Die Lager in einer Gasturbine stützen und positionieren die rotiorende Komponente. Die radiale Abstützung wird allgemein durch die Radiallager und die axiale Positionierung durch die Axiallager durchgeführt. Einige Triebwerke, hauptsächlich Luftfahrt-Jettriebwerke, haben Kugel- oder Kegelrollenlager für die radiale Abstützung, doch bei fast allen Industriegasturbinen werden Gleitlager benutzt.
