Abstract

This chapter is in two parts: First we shall discuss the surgical procedures to be applied for lips and commissures, which necessarily require special techniques; then we shall focus on the oral cavity: excision of the dermatosis or tumour (in any of its benign or malignant forms) and closure of the defect with direct suture, grafts and local flaps. At the end we treat surgery of the tongue.
