Zusammenfassung

Gestenbedienung gewinnt für die Mensch-Maschine Kommunikation zunehmend an Bedeutung. Damit wird eine intuitivere Interaktion zwischen Benutzer und Maschine angestrebt. Diese Arbeit beschreibt einen videobasierten Echtzeit-Gestenerkenner für den Einsatz in Kraftfahrzeugen. Als Anwendung wurde dazu die Interaktion mit Nachrichtenspeichern für Verkehrsfunk und Email implementiert. Spezielle, an die hohen Anforderungen angepasste Methoden der Bildverarbeitung und der Mustererkennung bilden die Grundlage des Systems.
