Zusammenfassung

Virale Atemwegsinfektionen gehören zu den häufigsten Infektionskrankheiten des Menschen überhaupt. Sie beginnen bereits im frühen Säuglingsalter, erreichen einen hohen Gipfel beim Vorschulkind, um dann zwar seltener aufzutreten, aber uns doch, mehr oder minder ausgeprägt, das ganze Leben lang zu begleiten.
