Zusammenfassung

Intraperitoneale Adhäsionen entstehen nach Verletzungen des Peritoneums. Sie sind bedeutende Folgestörungen, die selbst nach einer unkomplizierten intraabdominellen Operation auftreten und noch nach Jahren zu milden Beschwerden oder bis zu einem mechanischen Ileus führen können. Ob und in welchem Maße die laparoskopische Technik die postoperativen peritonealen Verwachsungen vermeidet, wird kontrovers diskutiert.
