Zusammenfassung
Die metabolische Reaktion auf den operativen Stress nach laparoskopischen und nach konventionellen Eingriffen wurde in mehreren Studien verglichen. Noch immer wird kontrovers diskutiert, inwieweit sich beiden Techniken in ihrer Stoffwechselreaktion unterscheiden. Obgleich es unwahrscheinlich ist, dass sich die allgemeine metabolische Reaktion des Organismus auf laparoskopische Operationen von der auf konventionelle Operationsverfahren qualitativ unterscheidet, würde man doch erwarten, dass sich das Ausmaß der metabolischen Veränderungen quantitativ vermindert, denn laparoskopisch operierte Patienten scheinen sich deutlich schneller zu erholen.
