Abstract

Apart from tuberculous infection of the pleura and of the lymphatic system, tuberculosis (TB) of the renal tract is the most common non-pulmonary type of infection [1, 2]. It is a disease of relatively young people; the age distribution, in most cases, lying between 20 years and 40 years. More males than females are affected [2–4].
