Welchen Platz hat das TVT (Tension-free Vaginal Tape) in der Therapie der Streßharninkontinenz?

Zusammenfassung

Die weibliche Streßharninkontinenz wird gewöhnlich der Dranginkontinenz (Urge) und der neurogenen Inkontinenz gegenübergestellt. Die Streßharninkontinenz wird durch die Urethrozystotonometrie in Ruhe und abdominaler Drucksteigerung gegenüber der Urgeinkontinenz diagnostisch abgegrenzt. Die Streßharninkontinenz kann mittels Vorlagewiegetest (Pad-Test) quantifiziert werden. Während die Dranginkontinenz blasenbedingt ist, hat die Streßharninkontinenz ihre Ursache in einer Inkompetenz des urethralen Verschlußmechanismus.
