Zusammenfassung

Mit der Bezeichnung Störungsbilder folgen wir dem internationalen Trend, der sich auch in den beiden gängigen Klassifikationssystemen (ICD-10 und DSM-IV) niederschlägt und ersetzen den Krankheitsbegriff durch denjenigen der Störungen. Inwieweit diese Abänderung Bestand haben wird, wird erst die Zukunft zeigen. Die für dieses Vorgehen in den derzeit angewandten Klassiflkationssystemen gegebene Begründung liegt darin, daß der Störungsbegriff weniger ätiologie- und theoriegeladen ist als derjenige der Erkrankung. Dieser Verzicht steht jedoch nicht für ein Programm, sondern spiegelt lediglich den derzeit noch zu geringen Wissensstand wider, der eine auf Ätiologie beruhende Klassiflkation noch nicht ermöglicht (Remschmidt 1988).
