Aktueller Stand der Antirefluxchirurgie in Deutschland

Summary

Following the introduction of minimally invasive techniques, an impressive increase has taken place in the frequency of operations for gastroesophageal reflux disease (GERD) within the past 8 years. A national survey conducted in the spring of 1999 analyzed the development of surgical therapy for GERD in the years 1991–1998. During this time period: (1) an absolute increase of antireflux operations took place, (2) the number of primary conventional operations was held constant, (3) the number of re-do operations slightly increased, and (4) a change took place away from conventional procedures (original Nissen, Nissen-Rossetti operation) to more modern procedures (short Nissen, Toupet).

Zusammenfassung

Nach Einführung der minimal-invasiven Techniken hat sich in den vergangenen Jahren ein eindrucksvoller Anstieg der Operationsfrequenz bei gastroösophagea1er Refluxkrankheit (GERD) ergeben. Mit Hilfe einer im Frühjahr 1999 durchgeführten bundesweiten Umfrage wird die Entwicklung der chirurgischen Therapie der GERD für die Jahre 1991–1998 dargestellt. In diesem Zeitraum hat sich: 1. eine absolute Zunahme an Antireflux-operationen ergeben, 2. die Zahl primärer offener Eingriffe konstant gehalten, 3. die Zahl an Rezidiveingriffen nur geringfügig vermehrt und 4. ein Verfahrenswechsel weg von konventionellen Verfahren (original-Nissen-bzw. Nissen-Rossetti-Operation) hin zu modernen Verfahren (short Nissen, Toupet) ergeben.
