Zusammenfassung

Die klinische Symptomatik der akuten Prostatitis ist so typisch, dass ihre Diagnose selten Probleme bereitet. Plötzliches Fieber, perineale Schmerzen und irritativ-dysurische und/oder obstruktive Miktionsbeschwerden sind eindeutige Leitsymprome. Demzufolge ergibt sich im klinischen Alltag auch eine relativ klare diagnostische und therapeutische Abtrennung gegenüber den chronischen Verlaufsformen der Prostatitis (s. Befund 31). Ätiologisch müssen viele Faktoren bedacht werden (Abb. 30.1).
